Oracle Netsuite was founded in 1998 as a cloud-based accounting software SAAS business. It was acquired by Oracle in 2016 for US$ 9.3 Bn.
It is the only ERP in the world that has always been exclusively cloud-based. Approximately 2 yearly software upgrades are performed centrally for all the worldwide clients, and no work is required on the clients' side.
The modules include ERP, CRM, E-commerce, PSA (Professional Services Automation), HCM (Human Capital Management), and the ability to manage worldwide subsidiaries, currencies, accounting standards and tax requirements.
